01 · CONNECTION
If Sloop will not connect
- 1
Check the open internet
Open a website without the VPN. If it does not load, reconnect Wi-Fi or try another network.
- 2
Allow the VPN configuration
macOS asks once before Sloop can create its system VPN configuration. Approve that prompt.
- 3
Choose another port
Open Ports, refresh the list, and select another currently available location.
- 4
Restart the route
Disconnect, reopen Sloop VPN, and connect again. Restart your Mac if the system configuration is stuck.
02 · PORTS & SPEED
Finding a steadier route
VPN speed depends on your network, distance to the selected port, and current server load. Try the closest available location first, then compare it with one other route.
Navigator's tip: switching from congested Wi-Fi to another network can help more than changing the server.
If the list is empty, use Refresh. Never install an unknown VPN profile or share a private connection link.
03 · PLANS & ACCESS
Restoring a subscription
Apple handles Sloop VPN subscriptions. If payment completed but access is missing:
- Confirm that your Mac is using the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Open Plans in Sloop VPN and select Restore Purchases.
- Check the subscription under your App Store account settings.
- Quit and reopen Sloop VPN after restoration finishes.
Do not send us your Apple Account password, payment card, or recovery code.
04 · GUEST VOYAGE
Your first seven days
A fresh installation includes seven days of VPN access without an account and without a traffic limit. Sign in with Apple is requested only when you choose a subscription after that guest period.
